All blankets made at Crossing Heart Designs are custom. We take the t-shirt and cut it into 12" or 14" squares to create the front of the blanket. If you are unsure of the size you would like, we can help decide once the order is received. Please wash and dry all items before sending. Mark in pen or marker on the bottom of the shirt tale with an "X" on the side of the shirt you would like used. If you would like the front and back, please mark both sides. We will discard the remainder of the shirt, so if you would like to keep one side, cut down the side seams only and send the side you would like used in your blanket. You can specify a color for the blank squares or you can use a t-shirt for each square. If you are unsure, then we can pick the coordinating color that looks best with your t-shirts. If you have a specific layout in mind, please draw a diagram and include it with your order. Once the topside of the blanket is complete, it is sewn down to the flannel backing which will be the same color as the blank squares on the front. You can machine wash your blanket on Gentle/Delicate with like colors or by itself in cold water, no bleach, can use fabric softener. Tumble dry on Medium/Low heat. Please do not iron. The backing has also been pre-washed to prevent fading or shrinking. We are not responsible for shrinking or fading of fabrics. We do not accept returns or exchanges since all orders are custom. Once we have started, we are unable to make changes to the layout, color or size.
